This is a brief update on the connectivity issues that were happening to a small subset of clients on Wednesday 2 April 2025.  On Wednesday morning one of our upstream providers had some issues which were intermittant.  Users who were routing through this upstream provider were having sporadic connection issues for loading websites. When the issue occurred a tracepath stopped at the data centre of the Upstream indicating it was an issue on their end. 

We reached out to this provider and the issue was quickly resolved. We're still awaiting an official reason for outage from this provider.  It is our belief that a failed update rolled out to a Cisco or Juniper network device based off an issue another competitor was having yesterday with similar symptons but we still have not had any confirmation from our upstream provider.  The issue was only affecting one of our three providers and any users routing through the other lines were unaffected so only a subset of clients were affected.

We continue to communicate with this provider in relation to this incident and apologise for any clients who were affected by this.
