We are completing the final stage of the network upgrade that was announced two months ago. As part of this work, our team will be removing legacy network equipment during an overnight maintenance window this evening.
This activity will cause BGP on our network to reconverge. During reconvergence there is a risk of brief periods of increased latency or short interruptions to service for customers served from the East Antrim Data Centre. Any disruption is expected to be minimal and the network will automatically stabilise once convergence is complete.
Our engineering team will be actively monitoring the platform throughout the maintenance and will intervene if needed.
